Mona Bahouth MD
Assistant Professor of Neurology, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, MDDr. Mona Bahouth is an assistant professor of neurology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She is a physician, researcher, and acute care nurse practitioner specializing in advanced practice neuroscience nursing education and clinical management of stroke and other cerebrovascular conditions. She was awarded her MSN from Syracuse University and her MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After an internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Dr. Bahouth underwent residency training in neurology at Johns Hopkins, where she served as executive chief resident, and then completed a cerebrovascular fellowship at Hopkins.
Dr. Bahouth has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals and has made numerous invited oral presentations. She is a member of the American Stroke Association and the American Academy of Neurology, among other professional organizations.
