Mittal Patel, MBBS, MRCOG, graduated from University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2009 and completed training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with special interest in Urogynaecology, Labour ward practice and teaching. She is currently a post CCT clinical research fellow and undertaking an MD at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London.

Her research interests include pelvic and bladder pain, obstetrics anal sphincter injuries and vulval conditions. Throughout her training, Mittal has presented at numerous national and international conferences.

When not at the hospital, Mittal can be found either baking cakes or reading the latest thriller.
