Mitch van Geel is an assistant professor at Leiden University, the Department of Education and Child Studies. He finished his studies in psychological methods and statistics in 2006 at the University of Amsterdam, and finished his PhD dissertation concerning the well-being of immigrant youth in 2009 at Leiden University. He has a broad range of research interests which includes bullying, immigrant youth, foster care and meta-analysis.
