Dr. Minh Nguyen is a specialist Neurologist and has recently completed her 2-year fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Alfred Health in Melbourne, Australia. She is a member of the RACP (Royal Australasian College of Physicians) and ANZAN (Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists).
Dr. Nguyen grew up and completed schooling in Melbourne. She received a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at Melbourne University, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Deakin University and completed 5 years of Internal Medicine training at Austin health and Northern Health and 2 years of general Neurology training at Royal Melbourne Hospital and Alfred Health.
Dr. Nguyen has an interest in both afferent and efferent Neuro-ophthalmological conditions and she is currently undertaking her PhD at Monash University, focusing on ocular motility in Myasthenia Gravis. She has received a Women in Neurology Fellowship Grant for her PhD and a 3-year Monash University Scholarship.
Dr. Nguyen is also involved in clinical physician training education, and provides educational content through her Neuro-ophthalmological drawings on her Instagram page @Neuroptic.
