Dr. Van Name is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Endocrinology at the Yale School of Medicine. Her research focuses on improving diabetes management in those with glycemia above target, including through the use of diabetes technology and adjunctive agents. She aims to study strategies that improve outcomes in young people at highest risk of acute and chronic complications of diabetes, enhance quality of life, and reduce disparities in diabetes outcomes.
