Her research focuses on improving diabetes management in those with glycemia above target, including through the use of diabetes technology, adjunctive agents, and treating the chronic disease of obesity. She aims to study strategies that improve outcomes in young people at highest risk of acute and chronic complications of diabetes, enhance quality of life, and reduce disparities in diabetes outcomes.
