Michelle Kho is an Associate Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University. She cares for patients in the intensive care unit at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton, and holds a Canada Research Chair in Critical Care Rehabilitation and Knowledge Translation. She leads a research program to redefine rehabilitation in the ICU. She leads CYCLE, the largest multi-center study of early in-bed cycling in the world.  She has previously published with the senior author of this paper within the past 5 years.
