Michael Grasso III MD
Professor of Urology, New York Medical College, Valhalla, New YorkMichael Grasso III, received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine, and completed his Urology residency training at Jefferson as well. While there, he worked very closely with Dr. Demetrius Bagley, developing broad academic interests. Working with Dr. Bagley during his training and beyond, he has helped advance the field of endourology by developing many minimally invasive therapies, instrumentation, and significant contributions in the literature. He has served as Assistant and Associate Professor of Urology at Loma Linda University, Professor of Urology at New York University, and since 2001 has been Professor and Vice Chairman of Urology at the New York Medical College. He is also currently Director of Endourology at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, Director of the Endourology fellowship-training program since 1999, Director of living related transplantation at Westchester Medical Center, and a member of the Executive Counsel at New York Medical College.
