Michael is Professor of Medicine, University of Sydney and Director of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Westmead Hospital. He is Co-editor of the journal Endoscopy and convenor of the Sydney International Endoscopy Symposium. He and his team have an international reputation for pioneering endoscopic therapy techniques and research to influence clinical practice, particularly in the field of colonoscopy, polypectomy and advanced endoscopic tissue resection.
