Max C. Petersen, MD, PhD, is a fellow in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Lipid Research at Washington University in St. Louis. He studied biochemistry and religion at Augustana College. His MD-PhD training was completed at Yale and his internal medicine residency in the physician-scientist pathway at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Petersen is an aspiring clinical-translational investigator currently conducting postdoctoral research under the mentorship of Samuel Klein, MD.
