Dr. Matthew Starr is a current second year vitreoretinal fellow at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He received his medical school training from St. Louis University and completed his ophthalmology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. As a fellow at Wills he was named a Ronald G. Michels award winner as well as a co-winner of the Macula Society's Evangelos S. Gragoudas award and lecture. Following fellowship he will be returning to join the faculty at Mayo Clinic as a senior associate consultant.
