Matthew W. Segar MD, MS

Cardiology Fellow, Texas Heart Institute, Houston, Texas

Dr. Segar graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine and trained in internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is currently a fellow in cardiovascular medicine at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas. He has a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing. His research interests include the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve risk prediction in patients at risk for cardiovascular disease.
