Dr. Matthew T. Campbell is a medical oncologist practicing in Houston, Texas, and is affiliated with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Genitourinary Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine, at MD Anderson, where he conducts clinical and translational research in the area of genitourinary malignancies, with a particular focus on rare tumor types. His translational research interest has focused on the impact of immune checkpoint inhibitors with thermal ablation. Dr. Campbell received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, where he also underwent residency training in internal medicine. He completed his clinical fellowship in medical oncology at MD Anderson. He is a member of the AMA, ASCO, and AACR, among other professional organizations.
