Martina Porter, MD completed her dermatology residency training at Roger Williams Medical Center. Through the American Board of Dermatology’s Special Investigative Training Track, she spent her third year of residency as a Clinical and Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital with a focus on clinical trials.  She is currently completing an additional research fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she started a new clinical trials unit, the Clinical Laboratory for Epidemiology and Applied Research (CLEARS), with Dr. Alexa Kimball.  She has developed an expertise in the design and conduct of clinical trials as well as the development and validation of disease-specific scoring systems.  Her specific research interests include Women’s Health, Psoriasis, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, and Alopecia.


Dr. Porter's fellowship funding this year is partially through Abbvie, Janssen, and the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) - (2017).
