Martin G. Pomper MD, PhD
Professor of Radiology and Director, Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MarylandMartin Pomper is the Henry N. Wagner, Jr. MD Professor, Director of the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and Associate Dean for Entrepreneurship and Technology Development at Johns Hopkins Medical School. He received undergraduate, graduate (organic chemistry) and medical degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Postgraduate medical training was at Johns Hopkins, including internship on the Osler Medical Service, residencies in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine and a fellowship in neuroradiology. He has been on the Radiology faculty at Johns Hopkins since 1995, with other joint appointments. His interests are in the development of new imaging agents for cancer, central nervous system disease and other disorders. He is a member of the National Academy of Medicine.
