Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Postdoctoral Researcher, Exercise Biology, Department of Public Health, Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark

Martin Langeskov-Christensen obtained his PhD in 2019 at Aarhus University, after defending his thesis titled “Effects of aerobic exercise on brain health in people with multiple sclerosis”. He is a researcher with more than 7 years of research experience within the field of neuroscience and neurorehabilitation. His primary research interest deals with the positive impact of physical exercise / activity on the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and, equally important, how this knowledge can be translated into effective interventions ultimately improving physical and cognitive function in neurological patients.

Currently he works as a Postdoctoral researcher at Exercise Biology, Department of Public Health, Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark, focusing his clinical research on the effects of long-term high-intensity aerobic exercise in patients with Parkinson’s disease.
