Graduate of Northwestern University Medical School (1984) Residency in Internal Medicine (1984-87) and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship (1990-1994) at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Rochester, Minnesota. Chief of Medicine, Associate Warden, at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota (1987-1990).
