Mark E. Ladner, M. D., FAPA, has Board Certification in Psychiatry and is a Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association. He has 22 years of clinical experience and is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he serves as Division Director of Adult Psychiatry, Director of Outpatient Psychiatry and Deputy Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs. He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings including the Jackson VA Medical Center, St. Dominic Hospital, and Private Practice. He earned his M.D. at the University Of Mississippi School Of Medicine in 1992. He completed a psychiatric residency at UMMC in 1996, serving as chief resident of psychiatry from 1995-96. He is from Jackson, Mississippi. He has served as President of the Mississippi Psychiatric Association, President of the VA Medical Staff and Acting Chief of Psychiatry at the VA Medical Center. He is accredited with 14 publications.
