Marco Luigetti MD

He graduated from the Catholic University of Sacred Heart School of Medicine in 2005 and completed a residency in Neurology in 2010 and a PhD in Neurosciences in 2013 with the same institution. He became a staff member at Gemelli University Hospital in 2012 and worked in field of neuromuscular disease, particularly on motor neuron diseases, peripheral neuropathies, and clinical neurophysiology. He participated as PI or sub-investigator in many trials in these fields. Since 2014, he has been Adjunct Professor in Neurophysiopatology of Peripheral Nerve. Since 2017, he has been responsible for ambulatory of peripheral neuropathy and service of nerve biopsies in Gemelli University Hospital. He has published extensively, lectures nationally and internationally, and is involved in mentoring graduate students.
