He joined the Heart Rhythm team at of the University of British Columbia in February, 2012. He is currently the director of Heart Rhythm Research and the Electrophysiology Laboratory at St. Paul’s.
His clinical and research interests center around the epidemiology, health outcomes and ablation of complex arrhythmias. His particulary focus is on outcomes of patients with frequent premature ventricular complexes. He is an active researcher, holding current funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Canadian Cardiovascular Society. He is the recipient of a career investigator award from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research.
