Malte Palm Suppli, MD, is a PhD fellow at Center for Clinical Metabolic Research, Gentofte Hospital, University of Copenhagen. He received his master’s degree in MD degree from the University of Copenhagen in 2017. Malte has been a part of Professor Filip Krag Knop’s research group since 2014. His research centres on glucagon physiology in humans and has focused on the relationship between obesity, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and their impact on the liver-alpha cell axis. Additionally, he has examined transcriptional differences in liver biopsies from lean and obese individuals and has explored differences in their hepatic microbiome.
