Dr. Lyle Mitzner serves as team leader at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA, where he has practiced clinical diabetology and endocrinology for two decades. He coordinates management of complex patients with diabetes in the inpatient and outpatient settings utilizing medical therapies coupled with dietary modification and exercise. He is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents and post-doctoral fellows in the clinic and hospital settings. He has lectured to diverse audiences on the transition of diabetes care from the inpatient to the outpatient settings.
