Dr. Lukasz Szczerbinski is a physician-scientist specializing in endocrinology and precision medicine in metabolic diseases. He is a Research Fellow at the Center for Genomic Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School (Boston, Massachusetts) and an Assistant Professor at the Clinical Research Center of the Medical University of Bialystok (Poland).

Dr. Szczerbinski’s research focuses on understanding the heterogeneity in obesity and diabetes, particularly in treatment responses. His goal is to develop improved methods for stratifying these diseases and to create personalized therapeutic strategies that optimize patient outcomes. He serves as a Principal Investigator in multiple clinical studies and has authored numerous manuscripts, book chapters, and abstracts. His work has been published in leading medical journals, including Nature Medicine and The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology.
