
Lisa Parikh MD
Fellow, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, ConnecticutDr. Parikh received her undergraduate degree in Economics at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 2005. She then went on to obtain an M.D. at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA in 2010. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at NYU School of Medicine in 2013. She is currently finishing her fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Yale School of Medicine. She has a general endocrinology clinic at the West Haven, CT VA hospital and also conducts clinical research in obesity and diabetes. Her major research interest involves understanding how appetite-regulating hormones such as cortisol interact with the central nervous system in the lean and obese state.
