Lewis Thomas, MD. is an assistant professor of Urologic Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, School of Medicine; completed his residency in Urology at the University of Iowa; and completed his SUO fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. His research interests include understanding the effects of androgens in localized prostate cancer, active surveillance protocols and techniques for localized bladder cancer, and intravesical chemotherapy for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Thomas enjoys cooking, following the St. Louis Cardinals, and building MagnaTile structures with his two children.
