She completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia PA, and then completed both her Internal Medicine residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
Her research interests are in Preventive Cardiology and Cardiovascular Epidemiology, in particular cardiovascular disease in immigrants in the United States and expanding preventive cardiovascular care to low and middle-income countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
