Lee Dresang, MD graduated from the Indiana School of Medicine in 1994 and completed his family medicine residency at the New Mexico Family Practice Residency in 1997. He then completed the Tacoma Rural Health Fellowship in 1998. He has been with the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health since 1998, Professor since 2011 and OB Coordinator since 2006. Dr. Dresang was an Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) Advisory Board Member 2004-2011, ALSO Advisory Board Chair 2009-2011, ALSO Associate Editor since 2011 and ALSO Medical Advisor since 2019. He has been Editor and author of the Basic Life Support in Obstetrics (BLSO) course since its inception in 2012. He has Chaired the Family Centered Pregnancy Care (FCPC) Conference since 2016 and is a Family Practice Inquiry Network (FPIN) Column Editor and author.
