Lauren Van Buren MD

Dr. Lauren Van Buren is an internal medicine resident at Washington University/Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Alabama, where she studied psychology, biology, and social work. She then received her medical degree from Indiana University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She plans to pursue a fellowship in gastroenterology after completion of her residency. Her current research interests include preventative medicine, colorectal cancer screening, and endoscopic management of malignant GI tract obstruction.
