Dr. Ploch was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, where she also received a Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Organizational Leadership in Healthcare. She earned her medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans. While in medical school, Dr. Ploch served as an elected class representative and was nominated by her peers to the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her dedication to humanism and compassion in medicine. Dr. Ploch completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Dermatology at Tulane, where she served as Chief Resident of Education and was elected to the Tulane Resident and Fellow Congress. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Ploch’s areas of interest include cosmetic, medical, and general dermatology. She treats dermatologic conditions in both children and adults.
