Dr. Lauren D. Nephew is Assistant Professor of Medicine and transplant hepatologist in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Indiana University School of Medicine. Her research interests include understanding barriers to liver transplantation for vulnerable populations, the impact of the social and structural determinants of health on minority health outcomes, and racial disparities in care of patients with liver cancer.
