Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery Fellow, Moy, Fincher, Chipps Facial Plastics/Dermatology, Beverly Hills, CaliforniaDr. Krystal Mitchell is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and the current Mohs Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery fellow at Moy-Fincher-Chipps Facial Plastics and Dermatology. She expertly treats a wide range of skin, hair, and nail concerns in all skin types with a focus on maintaining a natural aesthetic with facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, energy-based devices, liposuction, hair restoration, and non-invasive skin rejuvenation techniques.
Dr. Mitchell graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Cell-Molecular Biology from Oklahoma City University. She completed her MBA at Oklahoma Christian University and obtained her MD at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Mitchell then completed her internship at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, and her dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY where she served on the Root Cause Analysis Committee and GME Diversity Council at Mount Sinai Hospital and spearheaded a grant-funded community-engaged initiative to address Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia.
Dr. Mitchell is a rising leader in the field of dermatology. Leveraging her experience as a former pharmaceutical microbiologist and founder and CEO of a non-profit organization, she is a co-founding member of the Gloderm Trainee Committee, formally known as iDerm Global. She also serves on multiple committees of AAD, ASLMS, WDS, and SOCS and has been awarded numerous awards, including becoming a finalist to serve as Resident Representative to the Board of Directors of ASDS. Further, she has published a variety of articles while contributing to resident education and patient empowerment.
