Dr. Avgerinos is a Visiting Fellow at the Laboratory of Clinical Investigation (LCI) of the National Institute on Aging (NIA/NIH) in Baltimore, Maryland, US. He is an associate investigator in clinical studies of metabolic interventions (including ketogenic diets, drugs and supplements) in Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Avgerinos additionally performs meta-analyses of interventions in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological conditions. He received his Medical Degree as well as a Master of Science Degree in Medical Research Methodology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
