
Kevin M. Cockroft MD, MSc
Professor of Neurosurgery, Radiology & Public Health Sciences, Department of Neurosurgery, Penn State University College of Medicine, Hershey, PennsylvaniaKevin M. Cockroft, MD, MSc, FAANS, FACS, FAHA, is a vascular and endovascular neurosurgeon from Hershey, Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the Interim Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is also co-Director of the Penn State Hershey Stroke Center. Dr. Cockroft holds the academic rank of professor with joint appointments in Neurosurgery, Radiology and Public Health Sciences. His clinical and research interests include, brain aneurysms and intracranial hemorrhage, as well as AVMs of the central nervous system and occlusive cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Cockroft previously served as Chair of the Joint Cerebrovascular Section of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), as well as the AANS/CNS Joint Guidelines Committee. He is presently the Chair of the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).
