Dr. Kevin Chan, OD, is the Senior Clinical Director of Treehouse Eyes, an innovative eye care practice that exclusively provides myopia management for children in the metropolitan Washington, DC, area. Dr. Chan graduated with the distinguished dual degrees of Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) and Masters of Vision Science (M.S.) from the New England College of Optometry, Boston, MA. He later has further enhanced his clinical experience of fitting specialty contact lenses for myopia management at Pacific University in Oregon. His clinical training also includes Primary Eye Care and Low Vision Rehabilitation services in the VA Medical Center in New York and in Boston, Dimock Community Health Center in Boston, and Braverman Eye Center in South Florida. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Chan obtained his undergraduate degree in Pharmacology at Western University in London, ON, Canada. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Chan is a frequent lecturer locally and nationally. He is also a guest contributor in various optometric magazines, including Review of Optometry, Review of Myopia Management, as well as Modern Optometry. Dr. Chan’s expertise and dedication in myopia care for children has featured him in the renowned TEDx talk in 2019. He was awarded ‘The Best Eye Doctor (optometrist)’ by the Washington Parents Magazine in 2020. He is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), American Optometric Association (AOA), American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC), and Maryland Optometric Association (MOA).
