Kendall M Burgett BS
Medical Student, University of Indiana, Indianapolis, IndianaKendall Burgett is currently a third year medical student at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Biological Sciences and Spanish in 2017 and plans to graduate Indiana University School of Medicine in 2021.
Ms. Burgett’s research has been focused in ophthalmology since her undergraduate career. Her initial research focused on animal models of diabetic retinopathy, and she has since shifted focus to glaucoma research and ocular imaging modalities.
Ms. Burgett was a recipient of the Indiana Medical Student Program for Research and Scholarship (IMPRS) grant in 2018. Through this grant, she was privileged to work in the Glick Eye Institute at Indiana University School of Medicine with Dr. Alon Harris and Dr. Brent Siesky, who are world leaders in the field of ocular blood flow.
