Kayleen Ports is a graduate student in the Department of Epidemiology and a research assistant in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice at the University of California, Irvine. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from UCLA, has served as a clinical research coordinator for several Phase II and Phase III clinical trials, and has coauthored 3 publications. Her primary research interests are in the epidemiological management of chronic diseases including diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
