Katharina M. Busl, MD, is the division chief of neurocritical care and the medical director of the UF Health Shands Hospital Neuro Intensive Care Unit. She is an associate professor in the departments of neurology and neurosurgery at the college of medicine at the University of Florida. She further is the physician director of quality for the department of neurology. Dr. Busl is a board-certified neurologist and a diplomate in neurocritical care. Dr. Busl is the Editor-In-Chief for Neurocritical Care On Call, and an Associate Editor for Critical Care Explorations. Her research interests include pain control in neurocritical care, innovations in systems of care, quality improvements in neurocritical care, and neuro-urology.
