Kalman L. Watsky MD

Watsky is a 1983 graduate of Boston University School of Medicine; he served as a General Medical Officer at the Naval Hospital, Philadelphia, prior to entering Dermatology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in 1987. After serving as Chief Resident, Dr. Watsky accepted the position of Section Chief of Dermatology at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven. He continues to serve as Site Director of Dermatology at the Saint Raphael Campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital and is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Yale Medical School, where he co-directs the Observational Skills Course for first-year medical students among other clinical and teaching responsibilities.
Dr. Watsky also maintains a busy private practice of general dermatology with a subspecialty in contact and environmental dermatology. He is the current Vice President of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and has served on numerous committees for the ACDS as well as for the AAD and regional and local dermatologic societies. Dr. Watsky has lectured nationally and internationally; he is the author of more than 50 articles and book chapters. He is also a contributing author for UpToDate. Dr. Watsky lives in Woodbridge, Connecticut, with his wife, Deborah; he has two grown children.
