Joyce M. C. Teng, MD, PhD, is a professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University. She also serves as the chief of pediatric dermatology and the director of pediatric dermatology fellowship program at Stanford. She obtained her medical degree and completed dermatology residency training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Teng has broad clinical interests especially in the area of therapeutic development. She is an active physician scientist with expertise in clinical and translational research, especially for complex dermatologic conditions, genetic skin disease and vascular anomalies. Dr. Teng also serves as medical science advisor for several non-for-profit disease organizations and leadership roles in Women’s Dermatologic Society, Society of Pediatric Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance. She is also the chief editor of Therapy in Pediatric Dermatology-Management of Pediatric Skin Disease.
