Jennings, MD, is an adult gastroenterologist and hepatologist who serves as the clinical director of the Center for GI Bleeding at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program based out of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine training at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He served as Chief Medical Resident at MedStar Georgetown before completing his fellowship training there as well. As an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Jennings teaches first and second year physiology and pathology courses in addition to clinical rotations for the third and fourth years. His research interests include small bowel bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as drug induced and idiopathic immune mediated liver injury. He is board certified both in Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology/Hepatology.
