Director Movement Disorders Clinic, León, MexicoDr. José Fidel Baizabal-Carvallo graduated as Medical Doctor in Mexico. He completed residencies in internal medicine and general neurology at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition, “Salvador Zubirán” in Mexico City, he obtained a master degree in Neurology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico; he completed fellowships in cerebrovascular disorders and Parkinson´s disease at the University of Paris in France and a fellowship in Movement Disorders in la Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris, France. He also completed a fellowship in movement disorders and deep brain stimulation at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, mentored by Prof. Joseph Jankovic. He is currently professor of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology at the University of Guanajuato, Campus Leon, México and director of the Movement Disorders Clinic in León, Mexico.
