Associate Professor, Clinical Medicine, Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Director of Hepatology, Weiler Hospital; Co-Director, Liver Tumor Program, Montefiore Medical Center, New York

Dr. Schwartz is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  He is the Director of Hepatology at Weiler Hospital and co-directs the Liver Tumor Program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.   He is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine of Tel Aviv University in 1991, and was an Internal Medicine resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at the University of Washington.

Dr. Schwartz has an interest in chronic liver diseases and liver transplantation.  He  has a clinical and research focus on the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with hepatobiliary tumors.  He has participated in multicenter studies and national liver disease consortia.
