He speaks frequently around the world, and has authored over 100 manuscripts, book chapters, and abstracts. His work has been the subject of editorials in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, and the Journal of Investigative Dermatology. His book, Atlas of Suturing Techniques, was published in 2016 by McGraw-Hill, and he has an upcoming major dermatologic surgery textbook, also being published by McGraw-Hill.
Dr. Kantor received both his BA and MA in Intellectual History from the University of Pennsylvania. While in medical school at Penn, he completed an NIH-funded fellowship in clinical epidemiology and was awarded both an MD as well as a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology.
Dr. Kantor serves as a member of the Editorial Board for the JAAD, and is a member of the AAD’s Professionalism and Ethics Committee, where he chairs a workgroup. He has also been awarded the Member Making a Difference Award by the AAD
