Jon Keevil is the founder of HealthDecision, a Madison, WI based company whose software tools help clinicians and patients explore the benefits and harms of medical options when the best choice is unclear. HealthDecision combines patient-specific data from the electronic medical record (EHR) with current medical guidelines, clinician expertise and patient preferences to facilitate complex treatment decisions. The result is measurably increased patient satisfaction, a more efficient clinician workflow, and better documented SDM, which is increasingly required for reimbursement. Keevil worked as a preventive cardiologist at UW Health in Madison, WI for 16 years, medical school course director for 13 years and spent 6 years in quality and IT development.

Keevil officially launched HealthDecision in 2004, and resigned his position at UW Health in July 2016 to devote his full energies to HealthDecision.
