John Horowitz MD

John Horowitz MD was educated in Adelaide and  Melbourne, Australia, and at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. He is a cardiologist/clinical pharmacologist and a Professor of Cardiology at Adelaide University. His research relates mainly to disorders of nitric oxide and adenylate cyclase signalling,  the pathogenesis and treatment of takotsubo syndrome, coronary artery spasm and aortic valve stenosis, and the clinical utility of pharmacological manipulation of myocardial metabolism.
