Dr. Joanne Ryan is a neuropsychiatric epidemiologist and Associate Professor in the School of Public Health at Monash University, Melbourne Australia. She is a coinvestigator on the NIA/NCI- funded ASPREE-XT observational follow-up of the ASPREE aspirin clinical trial, and PI on the STAREE-Mind study of statins for primary prevention of cognitive decline. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology with honours from the University of Melbourne Australia, a Masters of Biostatistics from Monash University and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Melbourne and the Universite de Montpellier 1, France. Her research interests are in the epidemiology of cognitive ageing and blood biomarkers.
