Jimmy V. Berthaud MD, MPH

Dr. Berthaud is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He completed his undergraduate degree at Belmont University in Nashville, TN and graduate degrees at Columbia University in New York City. He then completed medical school at Meharry Medical College where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He then completed Neurology residency at Tulane University and a two-year Vascular Neurology fellowship at the University of Virginia. After completing his clinical training, he joined the neurology department at the University of Michigan in July 2018. Dr. Berthaud greatly enjoys teaching medical students and training neurology residents/stroke fellows. He has published several pee-r reviewed papers and reviews manuscripts for the Stroke journal.
