Dr. Jessica Ackert received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She completed her internship in general medicine at St. Luke’s–Roosevelt Hospital Center and her residency in ophthalmology at Mount Sinai Hospital, both in New York City. She underwent fellowship training in uveitis at Mount Sinai, and then worked as an assistant professor in the Mount Sinai Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology. Currently, Dr. Ackert is Chief of the Division of Uveitis in the Department of Ophthalmology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
