Jeffrey Zwicker, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Chief, Section of Benign Hematology, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Zwicker has chaired a number of scientific committees including ISTH Subcommittee on Hemostasis and Cancer and ASH Subcommittee on Thrombosis and Vascular Biology. He is the co-organizer of the ASH workshop on the interplay of between coagulation and malignancy and associate editor for Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis. Dr. Zwicker leads an NIH-funded research program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with a focus on novel risk factors and therapeutic approaches to thrombotic disease with an emphasis on cancer-associated thrombosis.
