Dr Jeffrey Keir is a primary care skin cancer practitioner in Ballina, Australia. A  Fellow of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, he teaches the diagnosis and medical/surgical therapy of skin cancer at local, national and international courses and conferences. He has a special interest in the dermatoscopy of melanoma (especially on on sun-damaged skin) and rare cutaneous tumours as well as in clinical audit and quality control in skin cancer practice. He has authored or co-authored peer-reviewed papers in each of these areas.
