Jason Klapman, MD, FASGE, is Section Chief of Endoscopic Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center and Professor of Medicine at University of South Florida. He is an advanced therapeutic endoscopist with clinical interests centered around the diagnosis, staging and treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies and a research focus on pancreatic cancer screening using advanced endoscopic procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound. He has a passion for teaching and has been invited faculty or course director for multiple educational/ hands-on courses around the country focused on gastrointestinal procedures. Dr Klapman has been heavily involved with ASGE serving on multiple committees including chair of the Educational Products Committee. He currently serves as a member of the ASGE DDW hands-on committee.
